West Virginia University awards more than $160 million annually in various forms of financial aid. Our tuition remains below the national average for four-year public universities. Additionally, our numerous scholarships, financial aid programs and payments plans demonstrate our commitment to making a WVU education affordable.

We recommend that you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit it by February 15th. All need-based aid is distributed using the information provided by you in the FAFSA. This includes low interest student loans.

An assortment of web links is offered here to assist with your efforts.
