Heather Bonecutter, Admissions Counselor

Education: BSJ in News-Editorial Journalism with a minor in General English

Hometown : Point Pleasant, WV

Favorite thing about WVU: I love the sense of community here. Sometimes it feels like it is possible to know everyone. It's like we are all united for a common cause. Then there's the Mountaineer Football!

Favorite thing about this Job: I love talking to people and helping them realize their dreams. Students come in here with the world open to them and I'm glad I can help them become who they aspire to be.

Advice for Students: Enjoy your time here and get to know the faculty and staff. They will be your lifelines not only while you are in college, but after.

When I’m not working: I'm usually curled up with a good book, watching some great movies or off on an adventure with my friends.
