SENIOR CITIZEN ADMISSIONS
Senior citizens of West Virginia (age 65 and older) who meet WVU residency requirements may now take courses at West Virginia University for reduced tuition and fees. In addition, the courses can be taken for credit or no credit.
Interested Seniors should complete the following steps:
1. Print and complete the Senior Citizens application. Return the application and the $5.00 application fee to the Office of Admissions and Records, Post Office Box 6009, Morgantown, WV 26506-6009.
2. Be sure to indicate if you want to be a graduate or undergraduate student and if you want to take courses for credit (grade) or no credit (no grade). Please note that all students using this application will be admitted as non-degree students. Students interested in applying as degree seeking must complete the regular application process.
3. If you are interested in applying as a graduate student, you must have completed at least a bachelor's degree. If you wish to apply as an undergraduate student, you must have at least completed high school or the GED.
4. Once you have been admitted, you will receive an admission letter with instructions for course registration.
5. Students must obtain instructor permission for each course taken.
6. Once you have obtained instructor permission, bring the form(s) to the Office of Admissions and Records on the downtown campus (Colson Hall) for registration and fee assessment.
