The withdrawal must be done before the first day of regular classes for that term. Please call 304-293-2121 and ask to speak to the Registration unit. | IMPORTANT NOTICE: |
To Financial Aid recipients who withdraw from ALL classes before a certain safe date,
or who receive all failing grades (F's). |
If you receive federal financial aid and are withdrawing from all classes before a certain safe date, you may be required to repay a portion of your financial aid.
You must repay this amount in full to the college within 45 days or make satisfactory arrangements with the U.S. Department of Education. You will lose further eligibility for ALL federal aid at any college until the debt is paid in full.
You may also owe a balance on tuition charges to West Virginia University because of the reduction in previously approved financial aid. These tuition charges must be paid before a student is permitted to register for future coursework at the University.
PLEASE NOTE: Students receiving all failing grades (F's) and incomplete grades (I's) for a semester will notice a similar impact on financial aid eligibility.
SPECIAL NOTE: You need to contact the Financial Aid Office for detail on the Safe Date for any withdrawal for the Summer term.
Please consult with the Financial Aid office for more details. |
