Canceling your Orientation

How do I cancel my orientation session? Will I receive a refund for my orientation registration fee?

If you cannot attend your session, please notify the Orientation office immediately, and we’ll do our best to switch you to another open session. If you are completely canceling your Orientation session and are no longer attending WVU, requests for refunds must be received at least 72 hours before your assigned session. Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Orientation Coordinator upon receipt of a written request. You may e-mail refund requests to orientation@mail.wvu.edu or cancel online at www.sa.wvu.edu/cancel. If approved, cancellation refunds, minus a $10 processing fee, will be mailed approximately 8 to 10 weeks after cancellation.
